Pepe’s aggression
I was surprised to see the behaviour of Pepe in last Real Madrid-Getafe. When he started kicking the striker on the floor like he was a soccer ball I sensed a void in his eyes that chilled me.I am not part of those who  now are criticizing and insulting the player as if others had not done similar things before. Just remember Zidane’s headbutt and the look on his face while giving it. For me what is more disturbing it is that Pepe had not done anything similar in his career and therefore shows that we all are capable of doing similar things.

Racism conference
This conference is everything but a racism an equality conference as it presents itself . After Ahamadinejad rocking the boat with his flamed speech calling the state of Israel a racist and more the moderator now cuts the speech of a lower representantive which wanted to speak about his personal suffering at the hands of Libyan authorities. what is the plan here? Some are more equal than others ?

Portugal
Honestly I think my country is falling apart. It is not alone in drop, Spain and Greece are following right behind . Everyday I see news of companies going bankrupt, layoffs and layouts and now the FMI is giving it a -4% GDP growth.
In a situation like this it would be normal to see the Government taking actions to solve the crysis but no. As it is time of elections the PM gives handouts to his left and right like money is infinite. Was that the reason our PM asked us to tight the belt in the beginning of his term? And he persist on doing the TGV , this big white elephant that will fill the pockets of a minority and raise the debt of our children to come (and will not be used by more than 5% of the population anyway because it  will be expensive).
It hurts me to say this but it is like Portugal is a patient with a cold and instead of giving it a medicine to cure it we just warm up some compresses and put it in its head. The best technicians are fleeing the country for better conditions and education and we are stuck on this narrow line of thought that somehow if we sit tight and pray, everything is going to better someday somehow.

Master
I interrupted my master’s this week. I could not go on doing that thing just for the sake of a degree. We have to feel that when you exchange your precious family time for a class at night  it must be worth it. Not the case there. I would not recommend doing a master’s on my school. Let us try new things. I am going to enroll in a different school this fall.
